Fragment of a medieval copper alloy processional cross, comprising a heavily cast and crudely engraved robed figurine of the Virgin, standing on a rectangular-sectioned flaring plinth with ribbed mouldings, and with a fragment of the flat-sectioned supporting arm at the base. Incised lines define the the covering of the head, and the eyes, nose and mouth. Deeper grooves accentuate the arms and hand clasped to the breast, the folds of the robe and the feet.
