Two unglazed medieval body sherds of probably Minety ware. The smaller fragment measures 33x38.2x8.3mm and is from an everted rim jar (cooking pot). The larger fragment measures 48.7x46.4x11.8mm and is from a heavy storage jar. The sherds together weigh 44.35g. Probably 13th-15th century in date.

Small fragment from the angle at the top of a medieval ridge tile with the remains of a low knife-cut crest. This crest has been stabbed twice from one side. There is a sparse wash of green glaze. This tile comes from the kilns at Minety. For a description of very similar tiles see Wiltshire Archaeology Magazine 68 (1973) 79-88 with particular reference to fig.2 nos 24 and 25. The height of the crest, only 25mm, suggests that this piece is most probably 14th or 15th century. Measures 68x78x11.2mm and weighs 96.33g.
