It has a large circular cavity in its base which suggests it was placed on the end of another object. The object is in the form of the torso of a bearded man. A copper-alloy Medieval/Post-Medieval (AD 1200-1800) seal matrix with a circular die and a hexagonally faceted handle, terminating in a pierced lozenge above a single-ridged moulded collar. The object stands 21.85mm in height and weighs 8.72g. The die measures 16.90mm in diameter. Th die bears a single 'R' with a plant on each side. There is a circular indentation on the top side of the die aligned with the top of the 'R' so that the user could align the seal matrix correctly. For a parallel die design see BUC-80A155. An incomplete copper-alloy medieval to post-medieval (AD c1450-1550) single loop kidney shaped buckle, missing its pin and part of its plate. It has an expanded front flanked by two transverse triangular ridges. The strap bar is narrowed and offset, and the plate is still attached. This plate bends back on itself over the strap bar and narrows from 20.40mm to 10.05mm. It has a recess for the pin and has broken off in line with the hole for the rivet. An incomplete, cast copper-alloy, vessel foot probably from a cauldron, skillet or ewer, of medieval or post medieval date. The top end has been broken off (an old break). The pot leg is broadly D-shaped in section, with a smooth flat back, and a fluted front consisting of 5 semi-circular ribs that run the length of the leg from top to foot. A copper-alloy end-cap from a medieval knife handle. It takes the form of a single narrow trapezoidal curved plate measuring 28.25mm in length, tapering in width from 8.20mm to 4.40mm, 1.45mm in thickness and weighing 1.13g. It has a small rectangular perforation 10.65mm from the narrow end which measures 3.80mm in length. The guard is slightly concave on the handle side. Compare Cowgill et al. 1987, especially no. 116. 14th century.

The object is formed from a rectangular plate (0.45mm thick) with rounded terminals, which has been bent back on itself so that it now measures 10.95mm in length, 6.65mm in width, and 2.80mm in thickness. It weighs 0.36g. There are two circular perforations through it, the one closest to the bend being slightly larger than the other, perhaps indicative that this was for the pin of a buckle rather than a rivet hole. An incomplete medieval or post-medieval possible mount or strap-end, broken at one end. It is formed from a flat broadly rectangular plate measuring 24.60mm long, 15.75mm wide and 0.85mm thick, and weighs 1.69g. The plate has two circular perforations near the top edge, presumably for attaching it to something else. Decoration consists of a raise zigzag border and a rectangle formed with a grooved border containing and X at the top left and bottom right corner. There is gilding on the upper surface, though most has worn off. The reverse is flat and undecorated.

A copper-alloy medieval shield-shaped harness mount. The shield is of the common 'heater' shape, that is, with a flat top, and sides which curve steeply to a point. The mount features an integrally cast rivet projecting for c. 6.1mm from a centre position. The rivet has a hammered terminal and has a washer on it which suggests that the mount was attached to a soft or flexible material. The front of the mount is decorated heraldically thus: Gules, three lions passant guardant surrounded by red enamel.
