A lead medieval to post medieval (AD c.1200-c.1700) biface token. Overall, the token measures 17.4mm in diameter and 2.0mm thick. It weighs 3.27g. The designs on the token are very crude and this, combined with the large (3.2mm) circular perforation through it, makes it difficult to decipher. The obverse may show a stylised bust right with a sceptre or it may, when turned the other way around show an animal, perhaps a bird or a cat. The reverse may show a crude stick-figure with an S next to it. Therefore this token could fall into Powell types 10, 18, 19 or 32.

Both faces are covered in scratches, some of which appear to be intentional attempts at cross-hatching. There also appears to be a curving border around one of the edges, which may suggest it was originally intended as an imitation penny.
