A copper-alloy sub-oval buckle frame dating from the 11th or 12th century. The outer edge and sides sub-triangular in cross-section; the latter develop into moulded devolved animal heads at each end of the bar (beast biting bar type). The bevelled front of the outer edge is decorated with engraved lines, transverse towards the centre, tending towards oblique on the sides. The bar is narrower than the frame and is recessed. A broken and incomplete Medieval cast copper-alloy pedestal type seal matrix with a circular face. The handle has been almost entirely truncated, and the upper third of the die has been lost, both to old breaks. The central pedestal type handle appears to have been circular in section from the scar, a triangular indent on the scar is possible a casting flaw. The matrix has a central design of a rampant lion on a triangular shield with straight sides. A copper-alloy open type thimble or 'sewing ring' of late medieval date. The sides are splayed and the base is wider than the top. The ring is made of thin sheet. It has an engraved line at its top and its base externally with a longitudinal rows of circular pits in between, some not straight.

A cast copper-alloy folding strap clasp of 15th century date. It consists of a rectangular loop, the extended outside edge of which is moulded to resemble the upper part of a beast's head. The back of the outside edge is bevelled to echo the moulding on the front. At the other end, the pin bar is narrowed and recessed for a missing plate. The animal head includes a shallow rounded protrusion at the front which suggests a snout. A cast copper-alloy medieval harness pendant suspension mount of c.14th century date. The mount is essentially an extended bar mount of largely triangular cross-section. Its lower surface is flat. At each end of the upper face is a perforated, moulded round terminal which protruding knop. The holes would have taken rivets; one rivet is extant. A medieval cast copper-alloy single-looped buckle, dating from c. AD 1350-1450. The frame is of an elongated D shape and has a rounded knop with a raised collar in the centre of the outer edge (acorn like?). The strap bar is narrowed and offset; the pin is missing. Near the basal corners are vestigial lateral ridges. The buckle has a dark-grey patina. Similar buckles can be found illustrated in Griffiths et al. (2007, 95/Pl. 15; refs. 625-626).

A medieval cast copper-alloy composite buckle with forked spacer. This example is incomplete in so far as it is missing the sheet plates, pin and the tip of one of the prongs. The frame is oval frame with a projecting lip on the outer edge, but no groove for the pin. A medieval cast copper-alloy purse hanger. This is a three arched example formed of a large semicircle flanked by two smaller ones. The ends feature collared expanded terminals, one of which is abraded. The artefact has a dark-grey patina. A patch of iron corrosion product can be seen on the lower surface of one of the smaller arches. It would appear that one of the hanger's ends has been bent upwards as a result of old damage.
