A folded short cross cut half penny most probably of Henry II (or possibly Richard I) . Images of the coin have been shown to the numismatist Carl Savage who comments; The bent Short Cross cut halfpenny is most likely Northampton rather than Norwich as NOR or possible NON (as the remaining rev legend may read) are Northampton mint signatures. The only moneyer the ends in R from this mint is Walter who was active during the reign of Henry II and Richard I. I strongly suspected this will be a class 1b or 1c based solely on the rev and the lettering also fits with this class rather …

A cut quarter / cut farthing of Henry II - Tealby Coinage - due to the nature of the cut quarter the coin cannot be further identified - the obverse shows a small area of the lower right hand side of the bust which suggests that it is more likely to be later within the coinage - Bust C, D or F. whilst the reverse inscription suggests the moneyer's name started with PI - this relatively rare name suggests the coin maybe a product of the following moneyers / mints: Colchester: Pieres London: Pieres, Pieres Mer & Pieres Sal Northampton: Pieres Norwich Picot

Silver cut halfpenny of Henry II (1154-89) short cross coinage, Class Ib (1180-85) or Ic (1185-9). Moneyer either Godard working at the mint in London or Godwine working at the mint in Worcester. Not enough of the coin and inscription survives to indicate the mint - the recorder prefers that this is a coin of Class 1b as the portrait and inscription seems neater and not debased. North: 963
