A complete copper alloy ring or loop which possibly functioned as a curtain fitting of the Late Medieval to Post Medieval period, dating to 15th - 17th centuries. The object is sub circular in plan and is bi-trapezoidal in cross section with rounded and smooth surfaces. The file marks are still evident on the upper edges. The curtain fitting is a dark green in colour, with a fairly even surface patina.

A medieval (1300-1800) curtain ring. A sub-oval copper alloy curtain ring or loop, which is well worn on one internal edge. The ring has slightly rounded edges and is sub-oval in plan. In profile the loop is flat. It measures 22.76mm long, 22.53mm wide and is 2.35mm thick. It weighs 1.6g.
