A Medieval harness pendant. This artefact weighs 22.8g and is made from copper-alloy with the remains of a white metal (probably silvered) coating over all surfaces.
The pendant has a sub-square centre (height 23.4mm x width 23.6mm), with eight projecting arms radiating out from the edges to form a star shape (height 47.2mm x width 50.5mm). On the upper surface at the centre, of the body of the pendant, is a lozenge shape that measures height 14.1mm x width 11.5mm. A gold annular brooch of Medieval date. The brooch weighs 2.36g and has an external diameter of 20.0mm and internal diameter of 14.4mm. The frame of the brooch has a 'D' shaped cross-section with convexly curved upper surface and flat reverse. The band of the frame has a width of 2.8mm and thickness of 1.1mm. The band constricts for a length of 2.1mm so that the pin can attach to the frame. The width and cross-section of the pin constriction is uncertain as it is hidden from view by the pin.

A Medieval, c. AD 1150 to c. AD 1400, incomplete fragment of a gilded copper-alloy box mount. This fragment weighs 3.53g and is a flat 'Y' shape with worn breaks at both ends. Thickness is 2.1mm, length is 25.6mm and maximum width is 21.9mm. The tail of the 'Y' accounts for 15.5mm of the total length, has a width of 10.8mm at the top and tapers to 9.2mm at the break, which starts to curve upwards. An incomplete copper-alloy harness pendant of Medieval date (c.AD1100-c.AD1500). The pendant plate is quatrefoil in plan. The back is flat and the front has a recessed field which would have originally held enamel, now missing, up to the level of and surrounding a bird left, held in a human hand, with a crescent moon in front and six pointed star behind. A complete biconical lead spindle whorl, possibly Medieval in date. Ms J. Cassidy states in PAS record NARC-506AE1 that "Similar examples of spindle whorls have been found in contexts from the Roman through to the Post-Medieval period. However most are typically dated to the Medieval period". Both sides of this spindle whorl have been decorated with repeated lines and pellets in relief, though one side is partially blurred due to damage to the surface of the artefact. An incomplete copper-alloy double loop buckle of Medieval to early Post-Medieval date, c.1230-c.1650. The buckle frame is complete but the pin is missing. The two loops are oval in shape and the buckle frame extends past the central bar above and below. The maximum width of the frame is 27.36mm the frame has a length of 41.86mm.
