A copper-alloy French jetton. 'Moor's head' type inscribed AVE MARIA GRACIA P on the obverse. The reverse legend appears blundered and reads MA VE RI [-]. The reverse design is a double stranded arcuate cross fleury with a fleur de lis at the centre and a florette in each angle. Probably minted at Tournai.It appears that the blank was not big enough to accommodate the full designs on the dies.

French jetton of Tournai issued during the reigns of Louis XII to Francis I of France and dating to c.1497 - 1521. Letter V on the obverse and cross patty on the reverse. On the obverse the D punch used on the die was faulty making the letter more like a B.
The legends represent SIT NOMEN DOMINI, although the M and Ns are comprised of separate verticals and the D appears as a B.

A copper alloy French jetton of Tournai, dating from c.1415 - 1500. On the obverse is a crown within a wire line circle, surrounded by the legend AVE MARIA GRASIA PLENA. On the reverse is atriple stranded cross fleuretty within a tressure of four arches. In the centre of the cross is a voided quatrefoil and there is a V flanked by two pellets in each angle. There is no reverse legend.

An incomplete copper alloy jetton. A probable French jetton. On the obverse is a flat topped shield of France Modern containing three Fleur de Lis. The obverse legend is bordered above and below by a beaded border. The obverse legend is probably fictitious, reading : + ORVRV[---]ORVATRDTVT. On the reverse are traces of a triple stranded straight cross fleuretty, possibly within a tressure. There are traces of a legend around it, but it is too worn to be legible.
