A complete cast copper-alloy harness pendant of medieval date (c.1200-1400).
Description: The pendant takes the form of a lion, passant. Its tail is in an S shape over its back and integral to this is an attachment loop, set perpendicular to the lion. The lion has moulded facial features and engraved hair/ fur. The reverse is plain with file marks. The pendant has a dark grey patina and has patches of gilding.

A complete lead bi-convex spindle whorl of Medieval to early Post Medieval date (AD 1100-1500).
The spindle whorl is bi-convex in shape and sub-circular in plan. It has a lentoid cross section. It fits into the Walton Rogers classification form C. The central hole is circular with an internal diameter of 9.7mm. The upper face is decorated with faint moulded ribs, creating segments. The lower face is too worn to identify any decoration.

An incomplete lead or lead alloy biconvex spindle whorl, of probable Medieval dating (AD 1100 to AD 1500).
The spindle whorl is sub-circular in plan, with a central, circular perforation extending vertically through the object (internal diameter 8.9 mm). The sides of the spindle whorl are slightly convex. There are thrre lozenge-shaped mouldings attached to the corners of the object, the fourth is missing due to damage.
The whorl has a diameter of 23.9 mm and is 14.3 mm thick. It weighs 29 grams.

A complete lead spindle whorl of possibly early Medieval to Medieval date (AD 800-1100).
The object is plano-convex in shape with a domed side, rounded edges and a flat base with a central perforation measuring 8.7mm in diameter. It fits into the Walton Rogers classification Form A1. No decoration is present on either side.
The whorl is grey in colour, with an even surface patina. Abrasion, caused by movement whilst within the plough soil, has resulted in a loss of some of the original surface detail.

Description: The matrix is pointed oval in plan with an engraved front and a moulded reverse with a now squashed pierced lug. The front is engraved with a central xxx. This is surrounded by a legend which starts at twelve o'clock and runs retrograde (anti-clockwise) around the die face reading '+ S' mATILDIS FAIRWAT[...]'. A fragment of a cast copper-alloy purse (Williams Class A2) of medieval date (c.AD 1450-1550).
Description: The purse remains as one terminal end of the frame which is rectangular in cross-section with a perforated semi-circular plate on the bottom edge, and an expanded terminal. The frame is engraved on both sides with the letters PLE // NA . dO. The object has a light green and red-brown patina.

A complete medieval copper alloy composite strap end. One whole plate, one partial plate and the spacer are retained; the plates are rectangular with a rounded terminal with a small projection. The spacer fills the front half of the object and is secured with a single rivet; the rear end is incomplete but had a decorative circular cutaway at the centre, with rivets to either side, one of which is retained. There is no decoration. Circa 14th-15th century.
