Complete cast copper-alloy dumbell-type toggle from the late Iron Age/early Roman period, c.100 BC - c.100 AD. Broadly the shape of dumbell, it has two hemispherical terminals and a connecting waisted segment bounded by two collars. It has a light brown/green patina with severe surface pitting and some light abrasion. The two hemispheres are not symmetrical and the collars have smoothed with wear.

Incomplete cast copper-alloy dumbbell-type toggle from the late Iron Age/early Roman period, c.100 BC - c.100 AD. Broadly the shape of dumbbell, it has two hemispherical terminals and a connecting waisted segment bounded by two collars. This toggle is half of its original form, severed along its horizontal axis, presumably along its central seam. It has a dark brown/green patina, some evidence of abrasion and light pitting.

A cast copper alloy flat-ringed fitting, of Late Iron Age to Roman date c. AD 1 - 100.
The attachment bar is oval in cross section and sub rectangular in plan. It measures 14.03mm wide, 6.11mm high and 5.45mm deep. The terminals either side of the attachment bar are oval in cross section and measure 5.92mm wide, 9.67mm high, and 7.98mm deep. The terminals join into a rim around the inner ring, measuring 4.48mm high and 4.14mm deep. The ring is crescentic in plan and measures 7.69mm high at the shoulder, expanding to 22.59mm high at its mid-point.

An incomplete copper-alloy early Iron Age bow brooch dating to 450-300 BC, 27.7mm in length, complete with part of the spring, but missing its pin. The bow has a flat cross section and flares into a lenticular plate which is strongly arched and is decorated with two ridges which form an ellipse along the spine. The catchplate is incomplete. An incomplete late Iron Age to early Roman copper-alloy Rosette brooch dating c.20-60 AD.
The head, bow and lozenge plate survive with the pin and catchplate missing. The brooch is bent, worn and abraded. The sheet metal spring casing at the head is folded into a cylinder to encase the separately cast spring and pin. It has half a pin slot surviving and a worn horizontal raised rib on the front face. One half of the back is missing exposing the coiled spring, revealing three turns and the worn stub of the pin.

An incomplete copper-alloy Roman Colchester one-piece brooch dating from the Late Iron Age to Roman period (c. 25 BC – AD60). The brooch survives as the entire bow, the short bi-lateral wings and the forward facing loop and a small section of the spring. The pin are most of the footplate is missing.

A gold Iron Age Gallo-Belgic quarter stater, dating to the period c.80-60 BC, Gallo-Belgic D / Boat Tree type. Obverse: Boat with two occupants? Pellet to left. Reverse: Tree-like motif, wedge shaped line to either side, forked line below.
The weight of this coin, combined with the pellet in obverse field and wedge shaped motifs in reverse field suggest that this is probably a Gallo-Belgic D rather than an insular British type. See Sills, 2017: p. 15, no. 25; ABC p. 29, no. 40; Scheers 13.

An incomplete copper-alloy enamelled strap fitting of late Iron Age to Roman date, c. AD 40-80.
The strap fitting is oval with a D-shaped section and a chequerboard design on the upper surface. The resulting cells are infilled with alternating red and yellow enamel. The reverse of the fitting includes two projections with centrally facing worn terminals which may be the remains of a loop. Between these two projections is a rectangular hollow.

An incomplete copper-alloy linch pin Hoof-type terminal of Iron Age date, c.100 BC to c.AD 100.
The linch pin is sub-conical with bifid disc-shaped terminals. One terminal has a raise spine along its length which extends into a slight projecting lip to the upper edge. The other terminal has a rounded boss within a recessed setting to the front.
