A complete copper alloy Toggle of Late Iron Age to Early Roman date (50 BC- AD 100). The body is baluster-shaped, the centre of the object is composed of two rounded expansions with a groove between, which taper before expanding into two discoidal terminals. A loop extends vertically upwards from the upper portions of the object, straddling the two central mouldings. This loop is of circular section and extends to a rounded, sub-rectangular form.

A complete cast copper-alloy toggle of Late Iron Age to Roman date (c. 50BC-100AD).
Description: The object is symmetrical, consisitng of two conjoined globules which narrow at either end before flaring to discoidal terminals, each with circumferential grooves. A rectangular loop, D-shaped in cross-section, extends from both globules, straddling them both. The object has a dark grey-brown shiny patina, with areas of wear revealing a light green matte colour to the metal.

A late Iron Age to Early Roman cast copper alloy object probably a toggle (fastener) dating c. 100BC - AD100.
The object comprises a bar of of broadly circular section, with worn gentle facets which tapers in diameter from one end at 5.49mm to 4.93mm at the other. Each end is capped with a circular disc-like terminal which are also of different diameter: 10.39mm and 11.82mm respectively. A complete Iron Age to Roman period toggle. It is cast in copper alloy, and consists of two spheres joined with a neck. The spheres are slightly flattened with a collar under them, and the neck extends between these collars, narrowing in the centre. It is not quite symmetrical, but in good condition. There are many examples of varying dimensions on the data base, including GLO-6A8AF3 and YORYM-CB1843

The object has two sub-globular terminals, one 11.17mm in diameter and the other 10.54mm in diameter, connected by a short bar with a sub-circular cross section (6.33mm diameter). There are remnants of the collars that exist at the junction of the sub-globular terminals and the bar, though these have largely been worn away. The object has a largely light green patina. An incomplete copper alloy probable toggle dating from the late Iron Age to early Roman period (c.50BC-AD100).
The object has a rounded and bulbous central body,which tapers at either end into waisted sections before terminating in a pair of worn rounded ends ,a raised collar can be seen at one end..From one side of the central part of the toggle projects the stumps of a now broken attachment loop. The object is very worn and there is no evidence of any decoration.

An incomplete copper alloy toggle fastener from the late iron age to early Roman period (BC200-AD100).
The object is cylindrical in overall shape with a raised central section, 10.91mm wide, which gently narrows towards each end, both of which flare into rounded terminals. On the central section there is a raised decoration which cannot be determined exactly due to corrosion. On one side of the central section there is possibly a circular cell which may have been enamelled and on the surface opposite this decoration there is a very worn rounded attachment loop.

A complete copper alloy toggle dating to the Iron Age to Roman period (c.200 BC-AD 100).
The toggle is broadly cylindrical in shape with a narrowed waist. The ends are circular and mostly flat with a slight concave centre, they measure 17.5mm in diameter. By comparison, the waist is narrowed to 7mm and is decorated with two bands around the centre. Atop of the centre is a small suspension loop. Overall the object has a smooth dark green patina.

A complete Iron Age or Roman copper alloy 'dumbell' toggle dating to c100BC - 100AD. It consists of two globular hemispherical terminals joined by a narrowed central circular shaft. The terminals are slightly different sizes.
Dimensions: 20.9mm in length; 10.1mm in width; 8.36g in weight. One terminal is c10.1mm in diameter, the other 7.1mm in diameter.

A solid cylindrical copper-alloy late Iron Age toggle, circa 100 BC to AD 43. It has a mid-central semi-circular shape loop attached to one side, the body of the toggle decorated with sixteen semi-circumferential incised lines. The item is, overall, mid-grey in colour but the incisions contain white/cream material, likely depositional.

An incomplete copper alloy toggle dating to the Iron Age to Roman period (c.100 BC-AD 250).
The object is broadly cylindrical in shape with capped ends and a bulbous centre that creates a waisted middle either side. The capped ends are undecorated and the central bulge is decorated with an incised line that borders each edge. To the base of the central element is a sprue for an incomplete attachment loop. The object has a smooth light green patina.
