A complete copper-alloy Roman terret ring of late Iron Age to Early Roman date, circa 100BC-100AD.  The terret is of the 'simple' type. It is D-shaped, comprised of a subrectangular basal strap bar flanked by lentoid shaped collars. A loop, trapezoidal in cross section, extends to either side of the collars, narrowing in diameter with the thinnest section directly opposite the strap bar.  The object has a well developed green usrface patina, and shows wear in a speckled pattern. An Iron Age copper-alloy strap junction dating to circa 150 BC to AD 100.  There are three conjoined incomplete circular loops.The breaks have well-developed patinas. There is a slight depression in the centre of the loops. The object has a light green coloured surface patina.  There are other harness fittings recorded on the PAS database of a similar form; WAW-CA0CC0 is a complete example discovered in Warwickshire although it has a central boss in the centre. The object comprises three connected openwork trefoil rings (of which two survives intact) and a probable central motif of a horses head projecting 90 degrees from the centre of the object.
