A corroded and incomplete copper-alloy La Tène I Iron Age brooch (3rd-4th century BC). The brooch is sub-oval in plan and semicircular in cross-section, with a flat reverse surface. At the head one spring coil remains, to the left when viewing the brooch with head uppermost. The bow arcs round to a leg in the same plane as the head; the foot and catchplate have been lost along with the rest of the pin mechanism.
