A complete Iron Age to Roman period toggle. It is cast in copper alloy, and consists of two spheres joined with a neck. The spheres are slightly flattened with a collar under them, and the neck extends between these collars, narrowing in the centre. It is not quite symmetrical, but in good condition. There are many examples of varying dimensions on the data base, including GLO-6A8AF3 and YORYM-CB1843

An incomplete cast copper alloy Late Iron Age to Early Roman one-piece sprung brooch dating to the first century AD. The brooch is a La Tene III Nauheim derivative type, the spring consists of three coils, and there is a thin, flat bow. The foot and catchplate are missing.

A complete copper-alloy harness fitting terret ring of late Iron Age to Roman date, c.100 BC - AD 100.
The terret is of the 'simple' type, comprising an ovate basal strap bar flanked by circular collars. A circular sectioned loop extends to either side of the collars, tapering in diameter to the side opposite the strap bar.
The metal has a light green patina and is worn. The terret loop is 18.15mm in diameter, 2.67mm in thickness while the collars are 7.04mm in diameter. It weighs 2.99g.

A cast copper alloy late Bronze Age to Roman socketed miniature axehead dating from about 1000 BC - AD 410, though more likely to be from the earlier end of that range.
The axis has a side loop, concave side and a flared blade. There is a simple moulded collar round the socket mouth. The D shaped loop occupies about half the length and is worn on the outer edge. A complete copper-alloy harness fitting terret ring of late Iron Age to Roman date, c.100 BC - AD 100. Lewis Type 2; Simple Terret.
The terret ring comprises an ovate-sectioned basal strap bar flanked by semi-circular moulded collars. A D-sectioned loop extends to either side of the collars, tapering in diameter to the point opposite the strap bar.
A separate s-shaped hook formed of a rectangular sheet of copper-alloy is present around the terret.

A complete copper-alloy toggle of late Iron Age to Roman date, c. 100 BC - AD 100.
The toggle is of the dumbell type comprising two globular hemispherical terminals joined by a waisted central circular shaft. Integral raised collars are present where the shaft and terminals meet.
The metal has a mid-green patina and is in fair condition. The toggle is 15.5mm long, 6.8mm in diameter at the terminals, 4.4mm in diameter at the shaft and weighs 3g.

An incomplete Iron Age La Tène III Nauheim derivative brooch dating to the period c.25 BC- AD 100. The brooch is almost complete only missing its pin.
At the top of the bow is the head of the brooch. The head is made of two coils, one to the left of the bow and then ends in a transverse break. these would have cotinued through a cord over the head of the brooch then becoming a pin.
