A complete copper-alloy Roman terret ring of late Iron Age to Early Roman date, circa 100BC-100AD.  The terret is of the 'simple' type. It is D-shaped, comprised of a subrectangular basal strap bar flanked by lentoid shaped collars. A loop, trapezoidal in cross section, extends to either side of the collars, narrowing in diameter with the thinnest section directly opposite the strap bar.  The object has a well developed green usrface patina, and shows wear in a speckled pattern. An incomplete late Iron Age copper-alloy rosette brooch of 1st century AD date, c.25-60 AD. Only the upper half of the bow and wings survive, the lower half, pin and rosette are missing. The spring casing at the head is cylindrical in form (25.3mm wide), folded to encase the separately cast spring and pin.  It has a rectangular pin slot cut into its back for the pin. Hercules type. Hercules standing right, holding club and ?lion skin, [CV] to left, NO to right. Reverse depicts woman riding lion side-saddle, to right, [TAS]CIIO[VA] around. As ABC 2864  VA 2061, BMC 1884-85. Measurements: diameter: 10.6mm; weight: 0.83g

An incomplete copper alloy Iron Age possible mount or pin, dating to c. 500 BC- AD 100. The object is round, with the larger end flat. This is possibly a break, and is worn and broken. Running around the edge of the object is a foliate design, this consists of a zig zag pattern of leaves, surrounded by a border of incised lines around the edges of the leaves.
