Possibly pottery. Reduced shell tempered fabric with abundant calcareous inclusions to length 6mm. It is uncertain whether this comes from a very abraded potsherd which has lost all its original surfaces, or whether it may be from a structure made of daub which was tempered with shell. The finder kindly notes the presence of a marine shell fragment in NLM-C4F4B2 so this could be from a less burnt part of the same structure. The sherd is 31.71mm wide at the very top, expanding to 37.72mm wide towards the centre. This expansion is mainly due to the right hand side of the sherd widening, whilst the left hand side slants inwards at an angle, causing this initial section of the sherd to have a parallelogram like shape.
