Copper alloy brooch of Iron Age date. The brooch was made from a single piece of copper alloy its pin, now missing, being linked to the bow through a single spiral turn on one side of the head. An Iron Age Button and loop fastener of cast copper-alloy, with some remaining enamel. The object consists of a central cast body recognisable as a single piece button and loop, though the loop is now broken and only two small stubs remain. The front is circular and has a circular, flat bottomed groove that probably incorporated enamel at one point, though this has been subsequently lost except for possible small traces. Only the central section, separated by another, smaller raised circle of copper-alloy, retains an amount of red material.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Birdlip the dates to 50BC-AD50. the pion and mounting method are missing from the rear of the head. The bow emanates from the front od the oval head plate to a moulded knee formed from a large collar flanked by two smaller beaded bands, blow is an upwardly curving pointed beak. Below the leg of the brooch is straight with a slight ridge running down the centre resulting is an angled cambered surface, there is a ridge running down the back of the leg which expands in to the catch plate. A copper alloy pommel from a sword or dagger in the shape of a human bust dating to the later Iron Age (150-1 BC). The bust is moulded in three dimensions, with the lower edge of the shoulder line demarcated by an incised groove which runs around both sides of the object. The bust ends here, at approximately the point of the clavicle. Iron staining on the sides of the shoulder appear to be from the end of the sword rather than expansions at the sides. Directly below this is a sub-rectangular attachment, much marked by iron decay, where the pommel would once have attached to the sword…

A complete copper-alloy toggle of late Iron Age to Roman date, c. 100 BC - AD 100. The toggle is of the dumbbell type comprising two globular hemispherical terminals joined by a waisted central circular shaft. Integral raised collars are present where the shaft and terminals meet. The metal is brown in colour and is worn. The toggle is 19.9mm long, 9.5mm in diameter at the terminals, 3.8mm in diameter at the shaft, and weighs 7.0g.
