Copper alloy brooch of Iron Age date. The brooch was made from a single piece of copper alloy its pin, now missing, being linked to the bow through a single spiral turn on one side of the head. The bow is flat, its back decorated with a longitudinal band of incised, close-set, transverse, zig-zags. At each end of this band is a zone of finely incised, close-set lines. An incomplete late Iron Age to early Roman copper-alloy Rosette brooch of the sub-keyhole type, dating to AD 20-AD 60. It is missing the pin, the curl of the catchplate and part of the fantail plate; all breaks are old. The brooch consists of a circular plate with three flat D-shaped knops at 12, 3 and 9 o'clock and a trapezoidal or flaring fantail leg extending at 6 o'clock. An incomplete, cast copper-alloy beaded torc or bracelet fragment dating late Iron Age to early Roman, 200 BC - AD 100. The object is slightly curved and with a flat underside, a semi-circular section and 3 beads that were apparently made in one piece and are three-quarter spheres. A flint flake possibly with hollow scraper blades on each edge, c.1000-1BC. Description: The flake is a tertiary flake with no cortex remaining. Along both long edges at the same point on the flake are two small concave sections with short scaled semi-abrupt retouch likely intended to create a hollow scraping edge. The bulb of percussion on the ventral side is quite pronounced as is the bulbar scar and conchoidal rippling indicating the use of a hard hammer in its production.
