A complete Late Iron Age to Early Roman period copper alloy skirted terret, dating to c 50BC - AD 200. It is made up of a stout oval cross section ring, now a little distorted, integral to a collar and short neck with a flange below - the skirt -  which flares outwards and down, partly covering an oval loop on the underside. The upper ring shows action from the reins, very much thinner on one side, particularly the lower quarter, than the other. The lower loop may have been forged separately in manufacture and also shows wear, presumably from its attachment to the yoke. …

A cast copper alloy strap fitting  of Iron Age or Roman date, roughly circular in shape, with a d-shaped cross section. The surfaces are slightly pitted and abraded; and shows sign of wear on the interior edge, potentially from an attachment to a larger piece. It is 20.55mm in width, 17.47mm in length and weighs 10.78g. Larger examples of copper alloy strap fittings like this are  sometimes identified as beads or rings or scabbard suspension fittings (i.e. BH-11AEC2 WILT-04E485, SUR-A477DB)

A fragment of a cast copper-alloy Iron Age brooch of the Langton Down Type, dating to c. AD 25-60. Only the upper part of the bow is surviving. The front face of the case bears three pairs of longnitudial moulding (Blagg et al, 2004, pg 92, figure 62, plate 39). It is 14.76mm in length, 18.35mm in width and 2.32g in weight.

An incomplete copper alloy object, possible the bow from an Iron Age brooch, Adam's type 1Bc dating to 400-250 BC. The object is leaf-shaped with a slight curve. One end is complete whilst the other narrows to a rounded point and thickens to the reverse. The face is decorated with a central incised vertical groove with a further groove to each side. A copper-alloy and enamelled Iron Age stud (150 BCAD 43). The object is circular in plan and semicircular when viewed in profile. Abraded fragment of the ring of a Late Iron Age to Early Roman enamel-inlaid copper alloy knobbed terret, both ends with ancient breaks. A very large rounded boss or knob with a moulded groove on both faces probably lay at the top of the ring. It is surmounted by a sunken circular cell with traces of red enamel. Beyond the boss on one side there is a single similar cell, and on the other another cell with two smaller ones immediately before the break. Extant length 45.3mm. Diameter of cross-section at breaks 5mm. 1st century.

A near-complete cast copper alloy brooch of Late Iron Age to Early Roman date, Hull and Hawkes Group K (c.100 BC-AD 50). The brooch is comprised of the wings, bow, foot and catch plate, missing the pin (total length 48.0mm). The ‘wings’ are cylindrical with transverse mouldings imitating a spring mechanism and terminate in flat circular moulded end caps (wing span 30.3mm, diameter of end caps 6.6mm. An incomplete cast copper alloy Iron Age bow brooch of La Tene I type, 23.2mm in length and dating to the 4th - 3rd century B.C. All that remains is the bow, which has a circular cross section, 4mm in maximum diameter, and tapers at either end to old breaks with the integrally cast spring and head and the foot with catchplate, both now missing. The bow appears to be undecorated.
