An incomplete cast copper alloy Birdlip the dates to 50BC-AD50. the pion and mounting method are missing from the rear of the head. The bow emanates from the front od the oval head plate to a moulded knee formed from a large collar flanked by two smaller beaded bands, blow is an upwardly curving pointed beak. A copper alloy pommel from a sword or dagger in the shape of a human bust dating to the later Iron Age (150-1 BC). The bust is moulded in three dimensions, with the lower edge of the shoulder line demarcated by an incised groove which runs around both sides of the object. The bust ends here, at approximately the point of the clavicle. Iron staining on the sides of the shoulder appear to be from the end of the sword rather than expansions at the sides. A complete copper-alloy strap or harness fitting of late Iron Age to Roman date, c.100 BC - 100 AD. The fitting comprises an openwork drop-shaped frame with moulded decoration in the form of curving tendrils conjoining to either side of a lenticular knop at the pointed end. Two integral rounded bosses are present to the rounded side of the frame; one set to the inner edge and the other to the outer edge. Both bosses have recessed rings retaining traces of red enamel set around raised central dots. An integral ovate sectioned loop, or staple, is present to the reverse of the fitting.…

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Late Iron Age or early Roman one-piece brooch of 'Nauheim derivative' La Tene III type (c. AD 25-c. 100). The bow is flat and tapers towards the foot of the brooch with the incomplete catch-plate. The bow is undecorated. The head of the brooch retains three of the four coils but the pin the missing. Nauheim derivative brooches are common in Britain during the Roman period and were probably manufactured in Britain as well as the Continent. An incomplete cast copper-alloy bow brooch dating to the Middle Iron Age, c. 400-200 BC. The pin and two coils of the four coil spring is missing due to an old break. The brooch has a flat sectioned bow with prominent outward curve at the head of the bow and prominent inward curve towards the foot. Down the centre of the brooch is a raised rib. The foot is reverted to abut the base of the bow and terminates in an oval knop; the catchplate is formed by a widening of the return of the foot. Copper-alloy strap fitting of late Iron Age to early Roman date (c. 50 BC - 200 AD). The object comprises of a lozenge-shaped loop with a rectangular attachment loop extending from the back of it. Across the lozenge-shaped loop is a figure of eight with a raised outline on its front face around two circles. The object has a rough patchy brown and green patina. It is 34mm in length, 24mm in width and 13mm in thickness. It weighs 10.78g. This type of strap fitting and the style of decoration is well exampled from late Iron Age and early Roman contexts.

An incomplete early to middle Iron Age (600 - 200 BC) copper alloy harness fitting, perhaps a bridle bit, consisting of an incomplete sub-circular ring extending from a socketed base with a closed underside and surrounding skirt. Both skirt and ring are incomplete. The sub-circular ring is missing just less than half. At the top break, where it is narrowest, it is solid and pointed-oval in cross-section (6.6mm wide, 4.2mm thick).
