A copper alloy strap slide of Iron Age to Roman date. The object is sub-rectangular in plan with a curved V-shaped notch cut out of one edge. The outer face is decorated with an incised X. On the reverse is an integral rectangular attachment loop which is D-shaped in cross-section. The object has a dark green surface with patches of silvering or tinning. Each face is heavily pitted possibly due to abrasion within the plough soil. The design of this object differs from other strap loops and strap slides and an exact parallel has not been found. A cast copper-alloy probable strap junction or harness fitting of the Late Iron Age to Early Roman period, dating from c. BC 200 - c. AD 200. The object has a body composed of 2 adjoined hemispherical discs, which both have a circular perforation in their base. The right disc has a circular sectioned rivet protruding from the centre. The left disc is broken and part of it is missing, presumed lost in antiquity. A Late Iron Age copper-alloy double lunate strap fitting. The fitting comprises a central body of two crescents attached point to point to form a central circular aperture. There is circular pit in each crescent, possibly intended to take a missing stone or enamel; one has been broken through. On each side is a bar to take the strap and each is furnished with two pairs of double collars. The outer part of each crescent is decorated with a curving panel which contains engraved basketwork ornament.

The object comprises a sub-rectangular plate decorated with transverse ribbing from the reverse of which an integral rectangular loop projects, joining with the plate at either end. From the lower edge of the plate the object tapers into a forward facing hook with flattened rounded terminal with a central ring and dot design. The metal has a mid-green patina and is worn. A copper alloy strap fitting of late Iron Age to Roman date. The fitting is a strap slide which is comprised of two integral bosses with flat reverses and domed fronts, both of which are undecorated. A rectangular sectioned attachment loop projects from the reverse of the object. The metal has a shiny greyish-green patina and survives in good condition. The object is 16.3mm long, 8.2mm wide, 8.6mm thick (with loop) and weighs 3.5g.

A late Iron Age to early Roman strap slide, probably dating to c. 100 BC-AD 100. The fitting consists of a flat circular plate with a rectangular loop projecting from the reverse. The front of the plate is decorated with a recessed circular field inlaid with red enamel and with a reserved pointed quatrefoil. At its centre is a degraded pellet of blue enamel. The strap fitting is 24.6mm in diameter, 10.4mm thick including the loop, 3.7mm thick excluding the loop and weighs 10.48 grams. cf. YORYM-BB449F, SWYOR-565D3C and others on this database.

An incomplete cast copper alloy late Iron Age to early Roman strap union of Taylor and Brailsford's (1985:247) Type 1.2. The strap union is formed of two circular conjoined openwork elements arranged like a figure of eight. They are flat on the underside and domed on top. A trace of horizontal paired lines towards the narrow end may indicate the lips of a human head or mask, the surface is heavily worn overall, and one of the rings is broken, missing one half of its circumference.
