A late Iron Age to early Roman copper-alloy mount, dating to c. 200 BC - AD 100. The main body of the mount is pelta shaped with two intgral leaf-shaped projections below, one of these is incomplete. The front of the mount is decorated with five recessed cells filled with red enamel. On each leaf is a single circular cell. On the pelta are three semi-circular cells, one towards the top of the mount and one at each side. The mount is further decorated with incised lines. The rear of the mount is undecorated. An incomplete late Iron Age to early Roman copper-alloy mount or, dating to c.200 BC - AD 100. The object is in the form of a triskele, only one arm is complete. The object is flat at the front and concave at the rear, giving it a D-shaped cross section. Each of the arms appear to have the same decoration consisting of a raised coiled ridge. In the centre remains a fragment of cylindrical rivet which would have secured the object. The rear is domed at each arm and undecorated. The body is tear-drop shaped with a D-shaped cross-section (being flat to the underside). Iron age copper alloy mount. The object is oval in form and rectangular in cross section. It consists of two circular framed recesses which just butt up against one another in the centre of the object. The reverse of these is flat with a hole in the centre? These two circles are joined above and below by two U shaped, circular cross sectioned shafts. The object is probably a sliding harness mount or a componenet of a large mount. No info referring to its completeness has been recorded.

The object consists of a circular sectioned shaft which is bent at one end and joins a flat circular plate at the other. The plate is decorated with an incised circle. Below the plate, towards the outer edge, are the remains of an incomplete staple shaped loop attachment. The object is probably a Dress fastener which is missing a component.

It consists of a three dimensional animal head with triangular ears or horns (one damaged), protruding sub rectangular snout and recessed circular eyes. The back of its neck forms aridge which appears to be decorated with incised lines, representing hair? The figure is placed in the centre of what was a plate formed of three circular loops, only one is present now.

Copper alloy mount in the form of a styalised boar's(?) head, possibly Iron Age. Viewed from the front the mount has two large forward-facing ears, two simple 'dot' eyes, an elongated upturned snout and a simple horizontal slit for a mouth. The rear ventral surface has a transverse groove and half of a round hole remaining where the back of the 'neck' has broken off. This suggests that the object may have been mounted onto a rim or similar, possibly on a vessel? The object is 22mm long, 13mm wide, 15mm thick and weighs 6.0g.

The object is circular and domed it has a rectangular shaped protrusion C.5mm wide emerging from one side, this has broken off. The domed area is decorated with a central raised circular boss which is flanked by four oval shaped motifs which appear to have contained enamel. This decoration is contained in a raised circular border. The object may be part of a fitting and appears to be of Iron age or Roman date.

Late Iron age or early Roman copper alloy button, 22mm in diameter and 5mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a greenish brown patina and weighs 6.06grams. It is circular in form and flat, its surface has three circular depressions, 6mm in diameter, arranged in a triangular formation. These depressions probably held enamel. Inside each depression is a further circular depression, 2mm in diameter. The reverse is plain except for a sub circular protrusion c.6mm in diameter which may be the base of a shaft.

Iron age or Roman copper alloy mount, 35mm long, 28mm wide and 9mm thick. It consists of a small cirular protrusion which is sub spherical in section. This is decorated in teh form of a human head with small round eyes, a triangular noes and traces of a mouth. This sits above a large sub-circular form which is slightly domed with a flat reverse. This has two small spherical protrusions forming stylised breasts. The object is probably a mount from a vessel and its form suggest that the head would have sat above the rim of the vessel.
