Copper alloy brooch, Colchester type. Missing most of pin, damaged catchplate and foot; very corroded. The spring has 10 turns. The wings curve slightly around the spring (in contrast to the standard Colchester flat wings) and have traces of vertical groovesThe top of the bow is very angular, joining at 90 degrees at the top. The bow is flat backed with a rounded front and tapers to a damaged point. There is a slight centre rib surviving and the possibility of flanking grooves. The catchplate stub suggests multiple piercing. Width 18mm, surviving length 35mm.

Copper alloy brooch, La Tene I type. Missing spring, pin, and much of the foot; patches of heavy corrosion. The symetrical bow hoop is flat backed, expanding in the middle area to 8mm wide and 2mm thich with a central groove; any slighter decoration is lost. Only the edge of the catchplate survives on the foot stub. Surviving length 31mm. Type as Hull & Hawkes 1987 type 1 B?a/b.

Copper alloy brooch fragment, probably of early La Tene type. Only the central bow arch and a single spring coil survive. The circular section bow is 4mm in diameter, narrowing to about 1.5mm at each end, and forms a short symetrical arch, in size and proportions similar to Hattatt no.220. Surviving length 23.5mm.

Copper alloy brooch fragment, Rosette type. Upper part only, incomplete pin; worn and corroded surfaces. No surviving decoration on the cylindrical spring cover. The flat upper bow is steeply arched with a reeded front and two transverse grooves at the slightly rounded junction with the spring cover; it is broken just above the junction with the mid bow rosette feature. Copper alloy brooch fragment, rosette type. Upper half with central disc, missing pin; very corroded (and cleaned). The spring cover is a rectangular box shape, open at the back. The upper, arched, bow is triangular in section and may have had more decoration on the front. Above the central disc the bow is rounded and it expands into the junction with the disc, possibly with longitudinal grooves. The humped upper bow is reeded. Little decoration survives on the mid bow disc, which may have joined the spring cover, but there are circular pits at the bow junction and short line impressions towards the edge. Copper alloy brooch, Colchester type. The brooch is corroded, missing half the spring and pin, the catchplate is damaged and bow and one wing is very bent. The left hand wing (which may be incomplete) has two vertical grooves but nothing is visible on the other wing. The spring is enclosed within the spring cover except for small gaps at the back; the spring cover has single grooves at the terminals. The bow is a flat strip with no decoration and very slightly tapered. The catchplate stub shows that there was a single triangular hole. Length 37.5mm, width 20mm. Very similar to Camulodunum (Hawkes & Hull 1947) no. 97.
