A stone spindle whorl or loom weight, probably of Iron Age to Roman date, (c. 300 BC - AD 400). The object is a cylindrical disc carefully formed from a fine-grained sandstone. An incomplete stone head, probably dating to the late-Iron Age to early-Roman period (c.100 BC-AD c.100), but possibly 19th century. It is missing fragments from its sides.
