An iron axehead probably of medieval to post medieval date.

The object is red brown in colour. It has rusted and corroded. On one long edge the layers of the metal can be seen. On one face there is a circular depression probably caused by the metal flaking off.

Object type: HARNESS FITTING
Broad period: IRON AGE
County: Lincolnshire
Workflow stage: Published
