The bead is a circular shape in plan, with a regular rounded edge in profile, Guido describes the shape as 'thick annular'. It has a central hole which is straight and sub-circular in cross section. The background colour of the bead is a dark blue colour which is decorated with white spiral which starts near the centre of one face and continues around the bead, but forming sub-concentric rings on the opposite face. On the less decorated face, evenly spaced around the hole are three small sub-circular indentations which maybe part of the manufacturing process or accidental.
