Copper alloy brooch fragment. Probably the lower bow from a large headstud brooch, Mackreth type Headstud 3.a or 5.a (depending on whether the lost pin was sprung or hinged). The mid to lower bow bears about eight rectangular cells apt to receive enamel, though no trace of colorant appears. The bow tapers gently to a drum-shaped pedestal foot with an annulus in its base. An incomplete copper-alloy late Iron Age to early Roman looped toggle fastener. The toggle has a semi circular loop, 20.9mm wide, projecting from one long side of a cylindrical body. This body is 16.9mm in diameter, decorated with two incised circumferential bands and has a conical terminal with a small apical knop. One end of the body has broken away to reveal the hollow interior of the casting.

Fragment of late Iron Age copper-alloy D-shaped terret, now very corroded but perhaps originally enamelled. It has a sub-circular or slightly oval upright collar terminal 13.7mm wide, 12.1mm tall and 4.8mm thick. From one side of this projects a triangular-section upper ring, with a flat inner and an angled outer. On the other side of the collar, at its base, is a stub of the attachment bar which shows that this was rectangular-section, 6.5 x 3.4mm, and set vertically. A complete, cast, copper-alloy bridle-bit of possible iron age to Roman date (c.BC 300 - AD 200). The object is comprised of two interlocking bridle bits. Each bridle bit is made up of an elongated central cylindrical bar with two projecting integral loops on each end. One of the loops where the bridle bits interlock is damaged, having a linear incision through it at its apex, however, it has not damaged the integrity of the loop. The object consists of two bars placed parallel with a central moulded collar which has been worn and thus less prominent. Incomplete Iron Age bow brooch, the pin and almost all of the catchplate missing, the lowest extent part of the flat-sectioned bow distorted. The chord of the four-coil spring (now in two pieces, a recent break) is external, i.e it transverses in front of the coils. A knurled median groove extends down the bow from the start of the spring to a pair of transverse grooves immediately baove the catchplate. Extant length 44mm. The spring arrangement is the same as that of Hattatt 2000, fig. 148, no 732, a La Tène II brooch, while the form of the bow is typical of La Tène III. 1st century BC.

A copper alloy ingot. It is basically rectangular in shape but with rounded ends and a waisted centre. It is flat on the bottom and domed on the top. The base has a series of vertical lines moulded into it which may be a relic of the moulding process.
