A complete Late Iron Age to Roman baldric ring dating to circa 70 BC-AD 50. It is discoidal in plan with rounded edges. Projecting from one edge, on both faces, is a hemispherical suspension loop. Each face is decorated with the same openwork design. It contains three central crescentic voids arranged in a 2-1 formation. In the centre is a crescentic shaped element with recessed cell. A fragment of a copper-alloy harness fitting terret ring of late Iron Age to Roman date, c.100 BC - AD 100. The terret is a 'simple' type. All that remains is one section of the loop with a collar, and a small section of the sub oval strap bar.  The metal has a light green patina and is worn.
