A rim sherd from a burnished, hand made bowl of later Iron Age or early Roman date (possibly Black Burnished ware 1). The fabric is reduced dark grey to black with a coarse sand temper and abundant mica. The rim is plain and was originally around 160mm in diameter. There is no decoration to the surface, but thumb impressions from the potter are evident around the interior side.

Two fragments from a hand-made Iron Age burnished fineware carinated bowl with a simple rim. The fabric is dark grey, reduced and sand tempered with infrequent small angular grey flint inclusions. The exterior has decoration comprising three circumferential grooves around the upper portion (the lower running around the carination) and, below the change in angle, a series of large triangles comprised of four incised lines running around the lower portion. A fragment of Late Bronze Age to Iron Age ceramic vessel dating to circa 1000 BC-AD 43. The fragment is irregularly shaped, relatively flat and thick. The breaks are uneven. The fabric is hard, coarse and black across the faces and breaks. Dense hard white calcareous and flint tempered annular inclusions <3mm but mainly <0.2mm.  The fragment measures 39.2mm long, 37.1mm wide, 12.3mm thick and weighs 17.68 grams.

An everted rim sherd fragment of a Late Bronze Age to Iron Age ceramic vessel dating to circa 1000 BC-AD 43. The fragment is broadly rectangular in shape and tear-drop-shape in cross-section and profile. The breaks are uneven, revealing light grey fabric. The external face is light orange. The fabric is hard and coarse with moderate sub-angular white sand <2.5mm and widespread <0.5mm black sand. The fragment measures 38.4mm long, 22.4mm wide, 12.6mm thick and weighs 10.25 grams.

Thick irregularly shaped fragment of hard coarse fabric tempered with spare poorly white quartz (mainly <2mm, occasionally up to 3.5mm). Black core and light grey internal and external surfaces with smooth faces. The external surface is covered with parallel grooves. The fragment measures 60.3mm long, 53.5mm wide, 10.2mm thick and weighs 34.36 grams.

A shell-tempered rim fragment from a storage jar of Iron Age to Early Roman date.  The fragment is broadly rectangular in shape and tear-drop in profile with a rounded everted rim. Abundant angular calcareous inclusions <7mm amongst grey reduced fabric on exterior and break, and oxidised light brown on interior surface and part of exterior. The fragment measures 90.4mm long, 57.5mm wide, 23.9mm thick and weighs 130.16 grams.
