Late Iron Age to Roman (1st to 2nd century AD) centre-looped cosmetic pestle: The copper alloy pestle crescentic plan with the upper edge being only slightly concave and having an integral circular loop on a wide stem. The pestle is circular in section and tapers to a blunt point at each terminal. The surface of the pestle has a mid grey/brown coloured patina. It measures 34.41mm long, 20.99mm wide across the loop and 4.68mm thick. It weighs 6.9g. Late Iron Age to Roman (AD c. 25 to 55) Birdlip type brooch: The brooch made from copper alloy. The head, in plan from the reverse, is a sub-oval, which on the outer face tapers to form the bow. This portion of the bow is decorated with a central triangular ridge with flared arch either side. This moulding terminates with a pair of two horizontal fine ridges with a more prominent slightly bulbous ridge in between. Below this horizontal ribbing there is a sub-triangular spur whose tip is upturned, and this portion of the brooch is known as the beak on these type of brooches. The bow …

A complete cast copper-alloy covered harness fitting or terret. There are three integral components, a large oval loop, a rectangular 'skirt' and a horizontal rectangular loop.
