A copper-alloy core, possibly from a plated gold Iron Age stater of unclear type, perhaps dating to the period c.60-20 BC. Obverse type is illegible or blank. Reverse type possibly depicting a stylised horse? Small areas of the gold plating remain visible on both faces, however the original type is unclear.
Measurements: 15.59mm in diameter, 3.74mm thick and 3.62g in weight.

An incomplete, Iron Age, cast, copper alloy, Le Tene 1 bow brooch. This brooch is minus the spring and pin. Slightly elongated, undecorated bow of oval section, foot returned parallel to catch plate, it's terminal just touching the bow. The foot return terminal being composed of two now broken openwork probable loops and the terminal flared out trumpet like just before it comes into contact with the bow. A very badly worn and corroded copper-alloy baldric ring. The ring has a projection, which is broken, originating from the front surface of the main ring. The projection extends for about 6mm away from the main ring. The whole ring appears to have been cast as one piece. The projection would presumably have widened into a knob. The junction of the main ring and projection is defined by a slightly raised lozenge-shaped border. The surface of the artefact is dark green, and heavily pitted.
