An Iron Age silver stater, minted c. 50 - c. 10 BC. Uninscribed South-Western (Durotrigan) type. BM cf. nos 2525 - 2546 = Van Arsdell nos. 1235, 1252, 1254 and 1255 = Mack no. 317. The obverse of this coin bears two incuse marks, both made with a narrow-bladed implement, and possibly struck to check the metal composition. Diameter: 20mm; thickness: 3.1mm. Weight: 4.9g.

Part of an Iron Age copper-alloy brooch, probably of La Tene type 1B, dating from the 4th to late 3rd century BC. The arched bow is of 'D-shaped' section, its outer surfaces (but not the central area) 'pecked' to produce a scale-like effect. At the top, the bow tapers towards the now-missing spring; at the bottom, it bends at a right angle, extending into a vertical foot, which has been flattened and has a pin groove in its upper surface. Length: 37.6mm; width: 6.8mm; depth/height: 20.5mm; weight: 6.35g.

A contemporary forgery of an Iron Age gold stater. British Museum classification: Early Uninscribed 'A' Gold - 'Westerham' Type (Hobbs 1996: 48, cf. contemporary forgeries nos. 33 and 34). The core of the coin has been made from heavily debased silver, with no trace of the original gilt surface surviving. Dimensions: diameter: 18.7mm; thickness: 2mm. Weight: 2.39g.
