Fragment of late Iron Age copper-alloy D-shaped terret, now very corroded but perhaps originally enamelled. It has a sub-circular or slightly oval upright collar terminal 13.7mm wide, 12.1mm tall and 4.8mm thick. From one side of this projects a triangular-section upper ring, with a flat inner and an angled outer. On the other side of the collar, at its base, is a stub of the attachment bar which shows that this was rectangular-section, 6.5 x 3.4mm, and set vertically. An incomplete copper alloy transverse wing terret dating to the Iron Age (c.100 cal BC - AD 100). About one third of the ring survives. The surviving fragment is made up of a circular cross sectioned bar bent into a curve that would have originally being circular or D-shaped in Plan. A fragment of a copper-alloy late Iron Age brooch of a possible Kragenfibel rosette type (Mackreth, 2011, pg 28). It is very corroded, making typogology difficult. The wing shape suggests a coil spring, although missing, and the bow seems to have a seperate plate, which is mostly corroded away. It is decorated with longnitudinal lines. An incomplete cast copper-alloy brooch (Nauheim derivative) of Iron Age to Roman date (c.50BC-AD50). Description: The brooch has a four-coiled spring with internal chord. The pin is broken near the coil. The spring and bow are rectangular in cross-section, tapering slightly to the pointed foot. There is a solid rectangular catchplate on the back of the foot. The brooch has a medium green patina and is bent at >90 degrees the bottom. Measurements: length: 28mm; width (spring): 12.4mm, (bow): 3.3mm; thickness (spring): 8.3mm, (bow): 1.2mm; weight: 2.43g

A copper alloy biface unit of Eppillus of the Cantiaci, c.AD 1-15. Description: This a 'Eppillus Sqaure Eagle' bronze unit of the Cantiaci tribe of the Kent region. Obverse: Concave square around large pellet, 'EP PI CO MF' around. Reverse: Spread eagle standing, head right. Measurements: Diameter: 13.73 mm; Thickness: 2.18 mm and Weight: 1.46 g. Discussion: For this coin, see ABC 408 and VA 450. This coin is the first of its kind recorded on the PAS with photographs.

A fragment of a late iron Iron Age or early Roman copper alloy and enamelled 'hoof-type' linch pin  dating c. AD 100 BC - AD 100. The object comprises the copper alloy decorative terminal of a linchpin with missing iron shank. Copper alloy button and loop fastener. A massy cast oval or vesica-shaped loop with a thickened lug in its keeled front above and below the circular central aperture and with a grooved or stepped front; a round-section shank springing from the back of the upper part of the loop is turned through a right angle with a circular loop at its end. Abraded. The form does not appear in Wild’s type series though he ascribes massy casting of his Type 1 to an essentially Iron Age origin, pre-dating most others. This is a notably heavy example.
