Copper alloy beaded torc fragment dating late Iron Age to Early Roman, 200BC-AD 100. The torc is slightly curved and with a flat underside, a semi-circular section and 3 beads that were apparently made in one piece and are three-quarter spheres. The interstices between beads form narrow collars. The object has been broken off one end. The bracelet is curved, with a flat underside and a semi-circular section. A silver Iron Age unit of the North Eastern Region / Corieltavi, dating to the period AD c.60-20 BC, Proto Boar type. Obverse: Boar with curly tail right, large rosette above, various pellet and ring motifs around. Reverse: Horse left, large pelletal sun ring above, pellet in ring below, ring(?) in front. As ABC, p. 94, no. 1782; Hobbs (BMC) no. 3209; VA 857-5. The diameter is 12mm and the weight 1.44g.
