An incomplete copper alloy pin head of Middle to Late Iron Age date. The large globular mount is copper alloy and has three sub-rectangluar recessed cells around its girth and a rounded cell on its apex and underside. These cells are filled with a white coral (one cell is now missing its fill). Around each of these cells is simple incised decoration of a diagonal line which starts at the base of one cell are loops up and round the adjacent cell. An incomplete cast copper alloy 'Horn Cap', dating to the later Iron Age. The horn cap is missing its two ends, which on other examples is elaborately decorated. There is a circular void through the centre which is very narrow in the base section but appears to widen significantly when it becomes visible in the upper section. Both upper and lower sections contain corrosion within. The rims of the horn cap are damaged, probably through post-depositional damage. Fragment of a cast copper-alloy probable beaded or knobbed bracelet of late Hallstatt to late Iron Age (La Tene III) date (c. 650 BC - 43 AD). The bracelet consists of two slightly curved hemispherical hollow lobes or domes conjoined with a ribbed collar. Each lobe is of a slightly different size.

An incomplete cast copper alloy cup-headed pin of early to middle Iron Age date, c. 800-300 BC. The pin has an inverted concial head with hollowed centre, similar to the rounded 'cup-headed' pins recorded elsewhere on this database (i.e. SF7412). Below the conical head is an expanded, biconical collar which separates the head from the pin shank. An incomplete and worn cast copper alloy annular brooch of Adams Type 2Bb2 dating from the Middle to Late Iron Age, constructed in the La Tene III style (c. 300 BC - AD 100). On the front face the circular frame is made of six moulded decorative hemispherical lobes or domes cojoined to form the annular frame. Each lobe has a hollow reverse. except for the two that carry the remains of a perforated double lug for the pin and, diametrically opposite, the remains of the catchplate. The pin is now missing and the brooch is quite worn.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy winged chape dating from the Early Iron Age, c. 800-600 BC. The chape is missing sections from the ends of both wings and is damaged and distorted in the central section. Overall in plan the chape has two long swept-back wings which are sub-triangular section and that taper as they extend away from the hollow central section. The opening for the scabbard is of pointed-oval form with a raised collar above around the opening. This is now damaged and distorted. The lower, outer edge of the chape has a stepped moulding to the rounded basal section.

A complete cast copper alloy toggle dating from the Late Iron Age to Early Roman period (c. 100 BC-AD 100). The main body is dumbbell-shaped and broadly circular in cross-section. There is a moulded groove beneath the loop, while scored grooves around the ends of the dumbbell are the only other decoration. The sub-triangular attachment loop extends from the centre of the dumbbell and curves up and backwards. A complete but worn Iron Age silver unit of Tincomanus of the Regini, dating to the period 25 BC to AD 10. The unit can be described as Cottam et al.'s 'Tincomarus Cross Lion' type (ABC 1124), with the first four letters of the ruler's name spaced around a long armed cross on the obverse. An incomplete cast copper alloy brooch of Middle Iron Age date, c. 300-150 BC. The brooch is another example of the regional 'Vale brooch' type from the Oxfordshire / Berkshire area. This example is lozenge-shaped in plan with an openwork centre and four large bulbous hollow domes on each corner, seperated by a plain elongated shank or neck. The domes are rounded on the front and hollow on the reverse. A cast copper alloy anthropomorphic bucket mount, dating to the late Iron Age and of some rarity. The mount consists of a hollow cast humanoid face, probably male, flanked by two corvids, as identified by the tiny spherical eye. The facial features are depicted in plain detail, including the chin, beneath which the head narrows into the beginnings of a neck before it terminates. Five gold staters of the late Iron Age. Four early uninscribed coins of the Southern Region are attributed to the Atrebates by Cottam et al (2010), while the fifth is a Gallo-Belgic E import. These coins have been found within an area of c. 1.5x 1m. Many years ago another c.8 gold staters were reportedly found and it is likely that these coins represent the remains of a small hoard.

A copper alloy unit of the North Thames region (Catuvellauni), attributed to Tasciovanos Cottam's 'Tasciovanos War Trumpet' type (ABC 2676), listed as 'very rare' in 2010 (under 30 recorded). Obverse shows a head facing right (BM/Hobbs profile 15) with pellet border only visible to top left. Reverse is of a horse and rider facing right with the latter holding a carnyx above the head. No inscriptions are visible on either side. Coin measures 15mm in diameter.
