An incomplete cast copper alloy brooch dating to the Middle Iron Age, c. 300-150 BC. The brooch is an Adam's Class 2Bb2, a regional type nicknamed the 'Vale brooch' with a concentration in the Oxfordshire / Berkshire area. It is estimated that approximately one-third of the brooch survives. Three domes are joined horizontally by a short neck, with the central dome having a slightly larger diameter than the two side domes (11.9mm and 11.4mm respectively). A complete cast copper alloy (with high tin content) Iron Age potin of the Cantiaci (Kent) / South-Eastern Region dating to c.80-50 BC. Rounded Bull type cf. ABC 165. BMC 705-709. David Holman writes: This is a previously unrecorded variety. The nearest parallel is Holman type E1/4-5b, which has the same reverse but an obverse with the face joined to the top of the head. This new variety has a detached face. The obverse also has a stylistic link to E3/4-4a, also from Bucks, although the reverse is quite different.

A complete and little worn Iron Age gold quarter stater of Cunobelin of the British Eastern / 'Trinonvanties' region, 'Classic' type dating to the period c. AD 10-40. Obverse shows CA-MV either side of central corn ear. Reverse shows horse right with branch above and CVNO below. Minted in Camulodunum. ABC 2822 / VA 2038 / BMC 1850. This is only the fourth example of this coin recorded on the PAS database.

A worn and incomplete large cast copper alloy Iron Age enamelled flat-ring terret, dating from c. 50 BC to c. AD 70. The terret ring retains over a third of the flat decorated ring, a short length of the strap bar and one roundel. The flattened ring of the terret is decorated with elaborate 'S' shaped La Tene style scrolls, conjoined into moustache-like motifs connected by alternating top and bottom scroll arms. An incomplete copper alloy Middle Iron Age brooch, La Tène I style brooch dating to the period 400-200 BC. The brooch is a small example, with oval bow decorated with incised double lines following the curve of the bow, forming an eye shape, with a row of punched dots down the centre of the 'eye'. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Late Iron Age or early Roman one-piece brooch of 'Nauheim derivative' La Tene III type (c. AD 25-c. 100). The bow is flat and tapers towards the foot of the brooch with the incomplete catch-plate. The bow is undecorated. The head of the brooch retains three of the four coils but the pin the missing. Nauheim derivative brooches are common in Britain during the Roman period and were probably manufactured in Britain as well as the Continent.
