The object has a circular plate which is decorated with incised lines. Two circles are joined by a reversed S scroll and each has another element extending from the circles too. An incomplete copper-alloy probable cruciform bead from a beaded torc of Iron Age date, about 50 BC – AD 150. The bead is cruciform, or quatrefoil, with a flattened central panel through which is a central rectangular aperture. The aperture would have accommodated an iron rod onto which the beads would have been threaded. One lobe of the quatrefoil is missing from this example. Each arm terminates in convex ovate lobes. these appear to be undecorated. The metal has a grey green patina. An incomplete, copper alloy and iron artefact, possibly a linch pin terminal of Iron Age to Roman date, about 100 BC - AD 100. The copper alloy forms an outer shell which is then filled with a core of ferrous material. In form, the artefact consists of a semi-circular shaft ending in a large, hemispherical terminal. The flat edge is an old break, so it may originally have been circular in section. At the junction of shaft and hemisphere are two narrow, transverse ridges, now considerably abraded. Simplified boar right on the obverse with a pellet behind and ring below. Stylised horse right reverse, with double upper front legs and a pelleted ring above. See ABC, p.94, no.1800. An incomplete copper-alloy zoomorphic (bovine) probable vessel or bucket mount of late Iron Age to Roman date, about 100 BC-AD 200. The head is cast three dimensionally and is a chunky sub-triangular shape with a mainly circular cross-section. An integral horn projects from either side of the top of the head pointing upwards and curving in to form a crescent. One horn terminates in a worn point and the other is damaged at the tip. A copper alloy and iron prehistoric base metal hoard consisting of a vase-headed linch pin head and foot terminal, with a copper alloy mini terret found about 30m away. The iron linch pin shaft only survives as stubs projecting from each terminal. The mini terret is likely to have been used with the linch pin (see below) and the the hoard probably dates from 400 BC - 200 BC. Part of a cast copper alloy, two piece, Type B beaded torc, dating from the late Iron Age to the early Roman period, about 100 BC - AD 200. Part of the separate beaded front portion survives. It consists of eight integrally cast beads, and part of one terminal. Each bead is a disc, the edge of which is decorated with two curved lines, creating a waisted central panel and elliptical outer areas (lipped).
