A fragment of a glass annular bead. Only about quarter of the bead survives. It is 15.3mm long, 7.2mm wide and 5.6mm thick. It is sub-circular in section and would have had a radius of about 9mm. The bead is made of dark blue glass and is decorated with five trailed then smoothed circumferential bands of white glass. There is also a pinkish substance on the side of the central hole. Beads with similar decoration on the database are LEIC-70C974 and LEIC-8B5E97. It is very difficult to date glass beads as they were used throughout the Iron Age, Roman and Early Medieval periods.

A glass bead of unknown date. The bead is spherical with a proportionally large central hole. It has a diameter of 7.9mm and is 7.3mm thick. It weighs 0.5g. The bead is made of clear light blue glass which is chipped and scratched. Beads of this style were used from the Iron Age until the medieval period and beyond and so are impossible to date. However, an Iron Age or Roman date is most likely for this find based on the other material from this area. There are other beads on the database including GLO-31DB65.

A glass bead of unknown date. The bead is sub-spherical with flattened ends and a central hole. It has a diameter of 9.5mm and is 7mm thick. It weighs 0.8g. The bead is made of opaque sky blue glass and is in good condition. Beads of this style were used from the Iron Age until the medieval period and beyond and so are impossible to date. This sky blue colour was popular in the 1st-3rd centuries, but could also be from an Anglo Saxon context.
