Two Iron Age early uninscribed gold ‘staters'. likely to have been produced during the mid first century BC. The coins are of a recorded type known as a ‘Cheriton’ stater. Coin a is 6 grams, 20mm in length and 17.75mm in width. Coin b is 6 grams, 19.5mm in length and 16.5 in width.

An Iron Age gold stater of the early uninscribed 'QA' / 'Remi' type (mid 1st century BC). These coins were copied from the Gallo-Belgic 'F' type and have a central-southern distribution which includes Hampshire. This coin survives in good condition.
