An Iron Age copper alloy brooch of the La Tene I type dating to the 4th - 3rd century B.C. The brooch has a strongly arched bow that has a slightly expanded mid-section and a circular cross-section. The top of the arch extends to form the curled spring which is made from four curls with the pin still intact. Copper alloy Langton Down brooch, this has tubular wings that would have wraped around the spring encompassing it within a cylinder, but the spring is now missing. The bow is a flat sub-rectangular cross-section bar that is truncated just below the head resulting in the loss of most of its length, the front of the brooch appears to be flat and undecorated. This is the central section of an incomplete copper alloy Birdlip brooch that dates to 50BC-AD50. The top of the brooch is missing resulting in the loss of the pin and mounting method. The remaining lower part of the head shows the top of the brooch would have been from narrow curving rod. At the base of the head is a moulded knee formed from a collar with an upturned beak below. The lower part of the leg is flat but again truncated resulting in the loss o he catchplate. Birdlip brooches are thought to be British variants of the continental Flugelfibel brooch.

An incomplete copper alloy possible Birdlip style brooch the dates to 50BC-AD50. The pin and mounting method are missing from the rear of the head, although a single linear scar shows this would have been a rearward facing pierced lug. The following report was written by James Harris (Collections Officer, Corinium Museum). Cast copper-alloy mask fibula (maskenfibel). Parallels are known from the continent from Spain to Bulgaria with a particular prevalence in Germany, but finds of these have not been observed in Britain. A heavily corroded copper alloy possible rosette brooch, this has tubular wings that would have wrapped around the spring encompassing it within a cylinder; the rear is now truncated. The bow has two transverse ridges on the head, a small semi-circular plate forms the knee, behind is a short rearward projecting rivet that would have mounted the lower leg that is now missing. one half of the spring still remains and is made from five curls with the base of the pin at one. An unusual cast copper alloy brooch, probably dating from the Middle Iron Age. The brooch is form from an arching bow that has a head and foot plate at either end set perpendicular to the bow forming a simple H-shape. The bow is decorated with a raised beaded border on each sided, which flank two rings formed from seven pellets. Both the head and foot plates have expanded terminals with decorated edges. An incomplete copper alloy Birdlip type brooch. The spring is mounted to the brooch by a rearwards facing lug with a hole in the centre, a rearwards facing hook on the base of the lug holds the external cord of the spring. The spring is made up of five curls, the pin is still attached. The head has a groove running down either side to the upturned beak at the base of the head.
