A copper-alloy 'Alesia' style bow brooch corresponding to Edgar's type 21, dating to the Late Iron Age (c. 50-20 BC), La Tene phase D2. At the top of the brooch is a rolled tubular mount that would have held the pin support bar; there is a slot in the centre to accommodate the pin which is now missing. The head of the brooch is formed into a large inverted triangular plate that tapers to the narrow leg, behind which is a closed catchplate. A copper alloy ring of probably Iron Age to Roman date (c. 300 BC - AD 100). The ring is circular in cross-section. It is decorated by a finely executed double wavy line within a recessed band that rind around the circumference of the ring. The inner surface of the ring is smooth and in places shows signs of wear which may indicate where is has rubbed on a strap. Rings of this type are generally believed to have been harness or strap fittings, however, they may have a variety of uses.
