Cast copper-alloy pendant consisting of an openwork disc divided into four segments by crossing bars (one broken), from each of which extends a L shaped projection to form, overall, a swastika. From the disc extends an oval-sectioned bar, 6.2 x 5.4mm, now broken and slightly bent. At the end of this is a pear-shaped loop and a circumferential moulding. It has not proved possible to find a precise parallel for this object, but the form of the pear-shaped loop may be compared to the loops on Iron Age and Romano-Celtic bridle bits and harness fittings and this object might be best …

Socketed axe of bronze type but made from wrought iron. Loop on one side of axe, slightly angled. Blade expanded, curved cutting edge 65.5mm wide, length 110.0mm, thickness (maximum) 40.8mm. Mouth oval and flared from the body of the axe, socket shallow in comparison to those seen on bronze axe, depth 50.0mm. Unlike a bronze axe the bottom of the socket is marked by a change in section, the blade being thinner below the socket. The side of the axe bearing the loop is curved while the back is straight. Now heavily coated in lacquer but appears stable.

The obverse shows a horse left with a pellet and ring to left; little else is visible. The reverse is effaced / obscured by corrosion. It is not possible to find a precise parallel, although the style of the horse, with three linked pellets to its left, is similar to ABC (Rudd), p. 101, no. 1971 passim. Diameter 17.9mm, Masss 2.69g.

The 'button' consists of a transverse, round sectioned bar which bears two deep, circumferential grooves, one each side of the loop junction.
