Complete silver uninscribed Iron Age stater of the South Western Region / Durotriges, dating to the period c.60-20 BC, Cranborne Chase type. Obverse: worn but traces of wreath, cloak, and crescent motifs. Reverse: Disjointed horse left, rectangular head, body of crescents, four vertical legs, pellet below, with ten pellets above. Zig zag pattern with pellets in the exergue. Similar to ABC 2157.

Fragment of a copper alloy Iron Age to Roman harness fitting; a knobbed terret of dating from AD 1 - 150. The top part of the hoop is missing but is D shaped in section with a flat attachment bar which is sub-rectangular in section. This attachment bar is set between two sub-circular terminals. Two globular knobs survive, one on each side of the remaining hoop. The terret has a slightly pitted green patina.

An incomplete copper alloy Colchester brooch dating from the late Iron Age or early Roman period, and dating from c. AD 25 - 75. It is probably a Colchester one-piece brooch, but the spring, pin and hook are missing. Only part of the catchplate survives. The bow is slender and is sub-rectangular in section. There are traces of moulded decoration in the mid section of the bow.

A fragment of a beaded torc or bracelet from Iron age to early Roman period (c100 BC- 200 AD). One end of the torc has a hollow fitting that would adjoin to a curved bar to complete the neck-ring (hollow bar absent). Five beads are intact and each bead has a centrally raised band with a milled circumferential line. On either side of the centre band are two similar milled bands. The object has a brown patina is brown with the hollow fitting showing green.

Complete copper alloy (bronze) ribbed socketed axe of the Early Iron Age, dating c. 800-600BC. Sompting type, Variant Cardiff II. The axehead is triangular in plan, tapering to a flared convex cutting edge; the socket is broadly sub-rectangular in cross section with a collar around the mouth. There is a single integral side loop set beneath the collar. The loop is oval in section; it measures 23mm in length, is 14mm wide and 6mm thick and projects 13mm from the body of the axe. Complete copper alloy Sompting Type (variant Cardiff II) socketed axe, dating from the Earliest Iron Age c. 800-600BC. The axe has an almost square socket that appears to retain traces of a wooden haft. The axe is broadly triangular in section and tapers to a flared convex cutting edge. There is a semi-circular loop near the socket rim on one side. Only one face of the axe retains its original surface and this has three ribs the central one of which terminates in a pellet.

Copper alloy harness fitting or terret ring of later Iron Age to early Roman date (c. 100BC – 100AD). The terret is D-shaped in cross section. The attachment bar is rectangular in cross section and triangular in plan with the rounded point of the triangle projecting below the bar. On either side of the bar are two circular stops. At the apex of the ring is a smaller circular moulding which has two circumferential grooves. There is no other decoration present. Fragment of a copper alloy object, possibly a harness fitting (‘fob dangler’) late Iron Age or Early Roman date (c. 50-150AD). The front of the object has been moulded decoration comprising four sub-circular raised bosses, each surrounded by a raised scroll which join at the centre. This is a style consistent with Iron Age ‘Celtic Art’ motifs (Adam Gwilt pers comm). The reverse is undecorated but with concave depressions on the revere of each of the bosses.
