Possible Iron Age carved stone head.The head is carved from a single piece of limestone with a high quantity of shelly material within it.The face is tilted slightly to the left.It has distinctive lentoid eyes and a large wedge-shaped nose with a very simple slit mouth.The ears are also very simply carved.The back of the head is very smooth, although there appears to have been some attempt to create some form to the back of the head.The head has been truncated at the neck with a straight cut.
The head has some lichen adhering.
