A fragment of a copper alloy beaded or ribbed bracelet, probably Iron Age in date, c. 200 BC - AD 43. The bracelet is cast into the form of a continuous series of sub-ovate segments, each divided by a narrowed waist, and with a short projection, also sub-oval in cross-section, expanding from one end. Either end terminates in a worn break. Overall dimensions: length 37.0mm; width 5.8mm; thickness 6.4mm; weight 7.27g. The object is irregular in plan, consisting of a central triangular element, oval in cross section and with a concave socket at its mouth. An Iron Age or Roman glass annular bead, probably dating to 300 BC - AD 410. Sub-circular in plan with a central sub-circular perforation and sub-rectangular in cross-section, with rounded ends. A copper alloy Ring, probably a strap fitting or suspension loop, but potentially also a bead, of probable Iron Age or Early Roman date, c. BC 800- AD 50. The ring is broadly biconical, with circumferencially flatened band around its outside edge, creating a rounded, sub-hexagonal cross section. The bracelet is cast into the form of a continuous series of sub-ovate segments, each divided by a narrowed ridge or "waist". Although not regularly so, in general the segments of the bracelet become progressively smaller from one end to the other. The cross section of the bead at one end measures 7.5mm thick by 6.0mm wide and with the bead at the other measuring 6.9mm thick and 5.7mm wide. An incomplete Iron Age La Tene I brooch, probably dating to c. 400-200 BC. The surviving brooch comprises of the bow and partial spring, with the foot, pin and part of the spring all missing. At the head of the brooch is an integral spring coiled around a copper alloy axis bar, a fragment of which survives in situ. Two left coils of the spring survive, with the chord, any further coils and pin all missing. The head of the brooch survives to a width of 7.4mm, the coils being 8.2mm in diameter.
