Cast copper-alloy toggle of late Iron Age to Roman date c. 300 BC - 100 AD. The item is cylindrical with a bulbous central portion and two flat circular terminals. There is an intact attachment loop rising from the central portion of the body, though the void underneath is now filled with hardened soil containing oxidised iron remains. Opposite the attachment loop there is a circular indent into which a decorative enamel disc was likely fitted. This decoration is no longer present. Cast copper-alloy Late Iron Age toggle or 'slider', dating to c. 50 BC - AD 160. The item is cylindrical in form with is slightly narrower at both ends. Each end comprises a raised collared terminal. When viewed from the side, the circular ends of the toggle feature concentric moulded ring designs, with a border of a thicker ring on the outside which is part of the collared terminal, and a smaller raised ring design in the centre.
