A mostly complete puddingstone 'beehive' type quern dating to the Late Iron Age or early Roman period, c. 1-160 AD. Ground from a grey conglomerate with large orange, pinkish and black flint inclusions, the quern has suffered some minor losses to its edge though is otherwise preserved in reasonable condition. It is broadly circular in plan and domed, with angled sides that give it a 'beehive' like appearance.
