An incomplete, late Iron Age, 1st century BC copper alloy flat linear class II, Holman type C3 dating to 60-45 BC. The potin is broken in half. Obverse: A stylised linear head of Apollo facing left, formed by a circular border and a ring in the centre to form the eye. An Iron Age to early Roman cast copper alloy strap junction dating to 100BC- AD100. There are four spherical knops at the junction of each angle, two opposite sides being joined by a bar with a round cross section. The central element is composed of two opposed crescents. Dimensions: length: 19.68mm; width: 19.31mm; thickness: 7.3mm; weight: 8.02g. A similar strap fitting on the database is CAM-5BAD4D.
