Late Bronze age-Early Iron Age pottery with rim and wall dating to c.800BC. Fragment is roughly square in shape and consists of the rim and shoulder of a large storage jar. Fabric is a reduced grey colour and has a large number of coarse inclusions, some fragments of shell but mostly grey flint. There is some orange discoloration from the burial environment and the upper surface has been worn in one corner where it has been exposed to river erosion. An incomplete copper alloy Iron Age La Tene 1Bc brooch, dating 400 - 250 BC. The brooch has a flat-sectioned bow, it is a pointed oval in plan, its upper surface decorated with two concentric grooves with transverse incised grooves within. At the top, the bow tapers into a remnant of the upward-curving spring. At the foot, it tapers to form a right facing catch plate. A brooch with similar decoration on the database is BH-9A0EEC. Dimensions: length: 41.92mm; width: 10.07mm; thickness: 9.62mm; weight: 3.71g.

An incomplete Iron Age short sword with copper alloy scabbard elements dating from 100 BC - 43 AD. The sword is corroded and missing part of the tang. Parts of the scabbard remain. The chape frame is a type a2 lobed chape end. The scabbard was approximately mm long, represented by a copper alloy plate at the mouth a copper alloy chape; the main body of the scabbard may have been of an organic material either leather or wood.
